Hey! I'm Joo and I am Art & Design Director with over 10 years of experience based in Los Angeles, California. I was born in Seoul but grew up in San Diego, packed up my suitcase to study design in New York, and worked in multiple cities across the world from NYC to Los Angeles to Seoul to Stockholm, and recently moved back to Los Angeles.
I specialize in building brand strategy, visual identity and brand comms to help brands and people connect. I have been leading creative teams for the past 4 years, overseeing and directing all creative deliverables from digital to print, from still to motion. I believe that design is at the core of everything we do and that great design should not only look good, but also solve questions and problems for our everyday lives.
When I’m not solving creative problems, I love to cook, travel, find local hidden cafes and stores, clean, try not to kill my plants, take photos for the gram and spoil my cat in every possible way. I also am a big fan of architecture, furniture design, and all things home decor.
